OMEGA uses synthetic sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment and high scratch resistance. Produced using the Verneuil process, which fuses the raw material until it crystallizes, it achieves a hardness of 9 Mohs, making it virtually scratch-resistant and guaranteeing total clarity on the dial.
Manual-winding chronograph movement, resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Register-free balance with silicon hairspring. Rhodium-plated finish, bridges with straight "Côtes de Genève" lugs.
DESCRIPTION

The 42mm stainless steel case is presented with a blue nylon fabric strap. The silver dial features hour markers and angular hands in blue PVD, as well as a silver Snoopy medallion embossed on the blue subdial at 9 o'clock.
On the case back with NAIAD LOCK, a view of the far side of the Moon is decorated on the sapphire crystal using a microstructured metallization process.
In addition to the black engravings on the case back, which are a tribute to the Apollo 13 mission and OMEGA's Silver Snoopy Award, the non-limited timepiece is powered by an Automatic Movement.
